RIZU X – CERCA
The first track on this EPs that document a process of positive radicalization starts with a howling and menacing siren and a hard-core beat, hot and dry like the desert were it comes from. Lizett Montiel aka Rizu X lives in a mysterious town called Laredo (TX,USA), or Nuevo Laredo (MX), that is separated by the Rio Grande or Rio Bravo. Ghosts wander its streets and nightlife is dominated by obscure punk and metal bands and masked super heroes. “Cerca” is a wake up call, puts us on alert for the fights to come, and is the perfect intro to this EP, with its relentless beat and its dense atmosphere.
